1970 HOLYGROUND/1989 MAGIC MIXTURE MM1.

A excellent+/NM very clean condition official Uk reissue of this monster rare progressive acid-folk-psych album. Let's face it, you are highly unlikely to ever find the original 1970 UK HOLYGROUND issue as there were only 99 copies ever pressed and i would imagine that only a handful survive today in good condition. This rare official reissue on offer here was pressed in a very limited run of just 425 copies in 1989 by MAGIC MIXTURE records, all were hand signed by Mike Levon & Dave Wood of Holyground enterprises. The packaging for this album is really superb, there is a excellent delicate thin paper outer paper sleeve which slips over the fully laminated signed front cover, the album comes with four A4 inserts, two of these inserts actually came with the album when i bought it new in 1989, the other two includes a A4 holyground records discography and also an original letter from Magic Mixture records about future Holyground records releases. There are also two original Magic Mixture flyers that i will include, the first advertises the 'A Austr' and 'Astral Navigations' albums and the other is for 'Tears On The Console' and 'Gagalactica' Holyground reissues.

CONDITION

The vinyl looks amazingly clean and glossy and visually grades a brilliant EX++/NEAR MINT condition, there are no surface marks and both sides show only minute signs of very careful play, both sides play superb throughout with a very clean and clear sound quality throughout, this is as close to new as a used record gets and the winning bidder will definitely not be disappointed

Both labels are in clean and bright as new condition and free of defects.

The fully laminated single sleeve is numbered and hand signed on the back, this issue of A-AUSTR is number 171, the back cover also contains the lyrics to all tracks, this cover is in mint condition with no faults at all, all edges and spine are perfectly square and free of wear and the front and back are as new, the thin paper outer sleeve is also in near perfect condition and looks brand new.

The two official A4 inserts that came with the album are mint and the two that did not are near mint condition with a few folds/creases. The two small flyers that i have also included are in very good condition although one has a thin slither missing from one edge.

This is just a immaculate condition very rare official Uk reissue of a impossible to find Acid-folk-psych album. This mega-rare official reissue was sold mail order only on a first come first served basis and was never commercially available to buy in the shops, so this brilliantly packaged issue is almost as hard to find as the original Holyground pressing as all 425 copies were bought at the time of release by private collectors and only a tiny amount have ever been offered for sale since.
