Killer mood music from the Italian softcore cum taboo sex film L' Amica Di Mia Madre directed by Mauro Ivaldi starring Barbara Bouchet / Carmen Villani / Roberto Cenci and Raul Martinez. For us, the superior partner to Bembo's Lingua D'Argento score. Similar instrumentation and gliding cinematic strings but L'Amica Di Mia Madre is a more jazzed up cum Afro Brazilian influenced session. Spellbinding jazz / soft funk and psychedelic arrangements with a tribal / exotic and disco tinged undercurrent. Stylish exploitation themes with a sophisticated hippie ambience too. Bembo's orchestra sounds amazing... part elegant part sleazy with fender rhodes and piano by Bembo (some say Luis Enriquez Bacalov (?) / cool horns by Italian jazzman Dino Piana / wah wah / groovy basslines / agogo bells / latin percussion / breaks and beats. Our soundclip opens with the laidback fender rhodes funk and bewitching disco strings of TEMA Di BARBARA followed by the voodoo influenced jazz funk theme NIGHT SAMBA (the amazing track you hear during the opening titles of the film) / the outstanding bossa TROPICAL CLUB then several other important themes including other top bossa / samba nova and funky psychedelic lounge like GONZALES GO and PEDRO COME. Great for DJs. Loud production sound. TROPICAL CLUB and PEDRO COME were comped on Easy Tempo Vol. 4 and TEMA Di BARBARA on Easy Tempo Vol. 8. Seductive and spacey arrangements that transport the listener to a hot and sticky discotheque / jungle nightclub in a '70s tropical beach resort setting. This is Alberto Baldan Bembo film music at its very best. Totally destroys Io e Mara and any of his Fonit / Usignolo Library sessions. Striking sleeve artwork with nude couple collage and lots more sexy film scene images inside the gatefold and back sleeve too ;) Very rare OST Lp!!! Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is closer to shiny M- condition overall regardless of one small spidery scratch (from the original pressing process) that causes some ticks midway onwards through the "Carmen Blues" theme (the last track recorded on our soundclip). Otherwise, a few hairlines / faint scuffs and some faded old pressing residue marks (all common for Aris label releases, even if previously sealed). Loud production sound. Light surface noises. A few other soft pops / soft ticks in places (as you can hear on our soundclip). Item was most probably unplayed when we found it and played once for the recording of our soundclip. The soft card gatefold sleeve is in strong VG+ condition overall regardless of some mini dents / scuffs marks and crease lines from storage to back sleeve. Some ring wear / ring dirt marks from storage (mostly to back sleeve). Some natural age discoloration. Corner and edge wear in places with some ink fading / ink bleeding. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Very rare OST Lp!!!
