This is the "(A BALLAD OF) A PEACEFUL MAN", 1971 ORIGINAL UK LP by GRAVY TRAIN - the 2nd LP released by GRAVY TRAIN.

This LP is now hard to find, especially in this superb condition, and was bought on its release in 1971, and is a very early 1st pressing.
The vinyl is on the highly collectable VERTIGO label, number 6360051, and has the following early 1st press matrix numbers:
- Side 1: 1 6360051 1Y#1 420 1 1 3
- Side 2: 1 6360051 2Y#1 420 1 1 1

Record is MINT-, the vinyl is unmarked, nice black sheen, with just a couple of feint spindle marks visable under strong lighting only, it does not look like a 41-year old record.
The LP plays superbly, and sounds like a new record, with no pops or bangs, and is very quiet between tracks.
The cover is EX, and is a nice shiny laminated gatefold with "VO PRICE CODE" and is in excellent shape.
The inside of the gatefold is undamaged and in excellent condition.
There is just some hardly noticeable very feint partial ringwear impression and a couple of feint surface marks in the laminate on the front cover.
There is some very minimal wear on the corners.
The spine is intact and in excellent condition.
The record sleeve is the original VERTIGO swirl, with just some slight discolouring of the white background on the edges only, due to its age.
Please see my feedback on selling LPs over the last couple of years.
The record will be packed in a stiff package specifically designed for sending vinyl throught the post, with added protection on the corners
