Description
A BAND Neil Campbell Richard Youngs Qbico 12"LP, Italy, 2003, rec. 1991
Released on multi-coloured swirl vinyl, this LP has never been played by the present owner. It is the work of a British musical collective led by Neil Campbell and Richard Youngs, and formed in Nottingham in the late 1980s. According to The Wire magazine:
"The importance of The A-Band to the UK rock underground is commensurate with the explosive impact that groups like AMM,SME or The People Band had on the free jazz and Improv set. An ever-fluctuating group of artists, dole boys, punk conceptualists and record collectors, they were the first UK ensemble to anchor a free drone music in the muscle and scorch of the most high-energy rock, while keeping it as untutored as the most elemental folk."

PAYMENT INFO: We will usually ship worldwide (overseas payments by PayPal only please). We try and post within two days maximum of receiving payment, and payment kindly requested within three days of auction-end so we can conclude transactions quickly. If payment is not received within a week, we will file a Non-Payment report (in order to reclaim our final valuation fees) and will re-list the item.
SHIPPING INFO: We get Certificates of Posting for every item we ship and unfortunately cannot take responsibility should an item go missing. We are happy to ship by registered post/insurance at Buyer’s cost and would advise this for items valued over £50. We use recycled (but secure) packaging whenever possible to keep P&P costs down and to help the environment.
