his is a RARE ORIGINAL 1ST UK DEMO PROMO PRESSING COPY - MOD / BEAT GARAGE / MIKE D'ABO - single by A BAND OF ANGELS from 1964, ORIGINAL UK 1ST PRESSING PROMO COPY IN GOOD CONDITION VINYL !!!
This is a RARE AND GREAT - MOD / BEAT GARAGE - UK 1ST PRESSING PROMO COPY single that NEVER comes up for sale !!! This was A BAND OF ANGELS - FIRST SINGLE RELEASE and they featured a young MIKE D’ABO before he joined MANFRED MANN and before his solo stuff on IMMEDIATE RECORDS, it also featured a young JOHN CHRISTIAN GAYDON who went on to manage: KING CRIMSON, EMERSON LAKE & PALMER and T. REX amongst others !!!  The single was produced by JOHN BARRY !!! It was comped on the: THAT DRIVING BEAT VOL. 3 and EMBER BEAT VOL 1 compilations !!!
The tracks are: ME / NOT TRUE AS YET.
The single came out on UNITED ARTISTS RECORDS catalogue number UP 1049.
VISUAL ONLY condition of the vinyl is in VG / VG+ condition (non feelable scuffs and marks + name written on side A. label), comes in an old white die cut sleeve !!!
