We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Hard to find SO clean ... over 50 years old ... this is a Killer Sixties soul/blues Lp from John Lee...yes, with a strong blues flavour, and the Vandellas backing....

John Lee Hooker takes a step or two into the bluesy soul sound of the early 60s on this sweet set on Vee Jay – while style flaunting his true blues pedigree really, really well! The grit of his voice is as heavily emotive and unshakable as ever – backed by a crack combo on drums, guitar, bass and organ – with sweet sweet backing vocals that are supposedly the Vandellas (sure does sound like it.) Highlights includes "San Francisco", "Take A Look At Yourself", "Send Me Your Pillow", "She Shot Me Down", "Big Soul", "Good Rocking Mama", "No One Told Me" and "Onions".

CONDITION: The cover:  Solid all over as far as the dark cover goes, nearly all original covers have heavy shelf wear due to the dark cover, here a CLEAN, near "EX" (excellent)  front cover that would have been rated M- if not for a minor 'touch' of shelf rub starting that in no way detracts from overall appearance ... The "ad" back cover is M- clean ... has  no bends, no writing, no split seams, no delete marks and has fresh colors ...from 1963! 

The vinyl: Very clean all over, clean "EX" (excellent) to M- plays beautiful  ...extra CLEAN all over ...both VEE JAY labels are also clean
