Description

A Band of Angels - Very rare copy of Invitation B/side Cheat and lie 7" 45rpm Single on the Piccadilly label, Northern Soul/Mod..

Band of Angels were a Northern Soul/Beat Music group from the sixties.
They were given their break in 1964 singing "Hide N Seek" in the movie "Just for You" They released 4 more singles before their break up in 1966 .

This rare single "Invitation" aka "Accept my Invitation" was their last ever single and is regarded as a Mod/Northern Soul classic apparently.

The record on the Piccadilly label is in brilliant condition, not a single visible scratch. It comes with a crisp clean cover, it has a couple of biro marks but it doesn't affect the quality.
This very hard to find single could be a great addition to any 60's collection.

The record comes from a pet and smoke free home. Thanks for looking..
