This is a collection of great BLUEGRASS favorites and classics from the original artists -- there are 9 x 78 rpm records all in VG to EXCELLENT condition on various labels: DECCA, COLUMBIA, MERCURY and are listed and graded below individually. These will be delivered with the 78 record album pictured that is clean with no writing.
1) BILL MONROE AND HIS BLUE GRASS BOYS - DECCA 46236 - 1950 with "ALABAMA WALTZ" and "THE OLD FIDDLER" - VG condition, nice gloss
2) BILL MONROE AND HIS BLUE GRASS BOYS (WITH LESTER FLATT Duet) - COLUMBIA 20162 - 1947 with "I'M GOING BACK TO OLD KENTUCKY" and "MOLLY and TENBROOKS (the horse race song)" in EXCELLENT condition with nice gloss.
3) BILL MONROE AND HIS BLUE GRASS BOYS - COLUMBIA 20676 - 1947 with "TRAVELIN' THIS LONESOME ROAD" and "CAN'T YOU HEAR ME CALLING" in EXCELLENT condition with nice gloss.
4) TOMMY JACKSON - MERCURY 6313 - 1949 with "FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN" and "BACK UP AND PUSH" in EXCELLENT condition with nice gloss.
5) TOMMY JACKSON - MERCURY 6246 - 1949 with "BLACKMOUNTAIN RAG" and "SALLY GOODIN' " in VG to VG+ condition with nice gloss.
6) LONZO AND OSCAR - DECCA 46393 - 1950 with "CHARMING BETSY" and "MONA LISA No. 2" in VG+ condition with nice gloss.
7) THE STANLEY BROTHERS with vocal duet between PEE WEE LAMBERT and CARTER STANLEY - COLUMBIA 20667 - 1947 with "THE OLD HOME" and "THE FIELDS HAVE TURNED BROWN" in VG+ condition with decent gloss.
8) THE STANLEY BROTHERS with vocal duet between PEE WEE LAMBERT and CARTER STANLEY and also featuring THE CLINCH MOUNTAIN BOYS - COLUMBIA 20770 - 1950 with "HEY! HEY! HEY!" and "PRETTY POLLY" in VG+ condition with nice gloss.
9) THE STANLEY BROTHERS and CLINCH MOUNTAIN BOYS - COLUMBIA 20816 - 1950 with the fantastic "I'M A MAN OF CONSTANT SORROW" and "THE LONESOME RIVER" in VG+ condition with nice gloss.
This record will be securely packed in a new 12x12x4 box with cardboard pads, bubble wrap and packing peanuts or other fillers. ?
