I am pleased to offer for sale this truly outstanding copy of the Beatles' first compilation album: A Collection of Beatles Oldies.
This album is an extremely early 1966 UK MONO 1st Pressing which is presented on the much sought after black and yellow Parlophone label. 
Released for Christmas 1966, A Collection of Beatles Oldies collates several UK singles that were not initially included on a 12" LP. The mother stampers of this record suggest that it was a day-of-release purchase intended as a Christmas gift for a budding Beatles fan. And what a gift this record would make for yourself today!

Vinyl Weight: 170g 
The vinyl is a true MONO first pressing as identified by the 1G / 1G matrix numbers. The mother & stamper codes suggest that the record was one of the first few thousand produced. Consequently, the audio is extremely clean and well defined. Take a listen below.
This vinyl has the first variant labels, identifiable by the large Times New Roman font. 
The vinyl is housed within first variant front side laminated Garrod & Lofthouse flip-back sleeve. 
Completing the album is the original 'EMI advertising' inner sleeve.

Vinyl: EXCELLENT
Labels: EXCELLENT
The labels are bright, clean and without writing. A small number of spindle marks are visible to both labels.
Visual: EXCELLENT 
The record displays superb deep-gloss playing surfaces. In bright daylight a couple of very light paper scuffs can be seen to the surface of the record. Underneath the glare of a halogen desk lamp a handful of barely visible wispy paper hairlines can be seen alongside an iridescent rainbow shine. Very nice.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT

As can be heard from the recordings, the vinyl plays beautifully. Side 1 is a strong EX / EX+. Side 2 is slightly less defined (I presume due an ageing mother plate) but is still a comfortable EX-/EX. Overall, a lovely copy to listen to.
Sleeve: EXCELLENT
I think the sleeve to ACOBO is one of The Beatles' best - perfectly capturing the essence of the swinging 60s in the UK. This copy is superb!- and would be quite at home framed and on the wall. The front laminate retains the original lustre and the cover art underneath bright and vibrant. The rear is very clean with only subtle evidence of handling. The corner are strong with only mild softening. The edges and the spine show only minor wear. A very nice copy.
Inner Sleeve: EXCELLENT 
The original inner sleeve is in great condition. It has a short seam-split to the bottom edge.

Additional Details:
Before the audio test, the vinyl was cleaned first by an Okki Nokki vacuum cleaner (using L'art du Son cleaning solution) and then an Audio Desk ultrasonic cleaner.
After cleaning, the vinyl is housed inside a brand new mobile fidelity anti-static inner sleeve. 
The vinyl will be packaged outside of the sleeve, both of which are stored inside an archival quality polypropylene outer sleeve.
The record will be sent via an insured courier in a padded vinyl mailer.
