A DATE WITH ELVIS
RCA Silver Circle Label - LPM-2011 MONO - GERMAN PRESSING
ULTRA RARE!!!!!!
Album Cover Grade = VG. The lighterweight European album cover is in good shape with light spine wear and slight discoloration; however the color is bright and vibrant.
Please note..... the back of this album does NOT have the calendar that was issued on USA copies. This one has various photgraphs of Elvis in Germany while in the Army. There is a date stamp of Mar 21 1960 on it, along with the German price stamp, which is dated 1/60.
Record Grade = VG. The album itself shows wear and has surface marks on both sides. The record does not skip at all but you can hear some pops and crackles that are not noticeable in the music itself. This is on the old RCA Silver Circle label.
RECORD GRADING...
SS = Mint - Still Sealed Record. Top Condition. Sometime sealed records not Mint because cover damage.
NM- a nearly perfect record, open however, the Record should show no obvious signs of wear. LP jacket should have no creases, folds, seam splits. No cut-off or punching holes. Must includes all poster, lyric sheets etc
VG+ - most common collectable grades for Vintage over 30 years old records. The Record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by previous owner who took good care of it. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. LP jacket may have slights sign of wear. Overall VG+ is highly acceptable for collectors.
VG - Surface noise will be evident upon playing, light scratches can affect the sound. LP Cover may have edge wear, corner wear or ring wear, writing on the cover or label and even splits. However it will not have this entire problem at the same time, only 2 or 3 of them and they will be mentioned.
VG-minus = G+ usually not acceptable for Vinyl condition, Cover could have some serious damage, splits and acceptable only as "temporary" record until better copy will be found.
