GENE VINCENT & HIS BLUE CAPS A Gene Vincent Record Date with The Blue Caps-Part 2 (Capitol EAP2-1059) 1958 USA An exceptionally RARE issue as Part 2 was never issued in the U.K. or Europe.
Tracks: Git It/Hey Good Lookin'/Teen Age Partner/I Can't Help It Condition: This 7-inch E.P. is in Excellent condition (EX). The sound is excellent throughout. Both labels are also in excellent condition...no stickers, no pen/pencil writing, no marks. The record sleeve is graded as VG+. As with most 1950s American issues the thick card cover has just a few signs of shelf-wear. Very slight wear along the outer edges and 'soft' corners but no creases, tears or folds. The bottom edge has been taped. Overall a very good solid card cover. (see scans)
This E.P. issue is the stuff of legends! There were always rumours that a Part 2 was issued in the UK but this is not so. So, a real rarity and hence the high starting bid.

Record Gradings: I use the standard Record Collector gradings for vinyl records M (Mint): Brand new condition - no marks - cover and inserts in perfect condition EX (Excellent): Shows some signs of the record having been played but very little lessening in sound quality The cover might have slight wear and/or slight creasing VG (Very Good): The record has obviously been played many times. There will be some noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches. The sound quality may have deteriorated but the general sound is still acceptable. Normal wear and tear on the cover but without major defects. G (Good): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated - perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover may suffer folding, creases, spine splits, discolouration etc. F (Fair), P (Poor), B (Bad): I do not normally put records in these grades on eBay except where the record is rare and still collectable whatever the condition.

Records are carefully packaged. For vinyl LPs I use purpose-made LP mailers with two inside card stiffeners. 45rpm singles, E.P.s are posted between two card stiffeners.
