Still sealed in the original packaging, this record is in excellent condition. Side one contains audio of a young enlistee’s journey through training camp with four segments including; Prelude, Army life, Combat Training, and Graduation. The level of detail is stunning including the Oath of Enlistment, Briefing, Mess Hall, Singing Cadence, Bayonet Training, Hand to Hand Combat, and more! Side two gets even more in depth with sections on Crew Training, Weapons Training, and Combined Arms in the Attack. Experience basic combat training like never before with this fully immersive audio recording!

Here is Germany as the American Serviceman hears it and lives it! Here is the brassy beer hall music, the crashing “Prosit!” of 1000 voices from Munich’s Hofbrauhaus, the ever-changing sounds of modern Germany and the never-changing sounds of its bells, beerhalls, cuckoo clocks, and cobblestone-clattering honey wagons. Pages of text inside round up any stray memories which may have eluded our microphones. Hilariously illustrated by cartoonist Dennis Renault, it’s done in the prose form every EUCOM GI understands… the letter home. Letters to the Folks, the Local Board, the faithless sender of that “Dear John” letter, and all the rest detailing incredible escapades and humorous encounters with the locals!
