A Hard Day's Night.
PMC 1230
XEX 481 3N/482 3N
First UK mono pressing from 1964 to the best of my knowledge.
Firstly, the record:
Visually very nice.
The labels show some light spindle marks but not to a gruesome extent & are otherwise clean.
A couple of marks & surface scratches commensurate with very light use on either playing surface & but it generally looks pretty damn good for a 60 year old. Certainly no deep impact damage.
Play tested with no skips or jumps or much surface noise. The run ins are nice & quiet. Sounds deep & warm like a sixties mono copy should.
It's been professionally vacuum cleaned so it's nice & shiny. This has also optimised playback.
Secondly, the sleeve:
Clean, strong & unmolested with a decent spine. Some light foxing marks on the front.
Comes with original period Emitex inner.
Not quite a museum piece but much better than most copies I've seen & an absolute steal at this starting price.
