Description

An original 1968 stereo pressing in the UK on Decca [roughly 12 months after 1st release]. Matrix 1W/1W [1st cut]. The vinyl comes housed in an original sleeve/cover with pinched spine and peep hole. 1st pressings would have arrived in the spring of '67 and would not have exhibited the peep hole on the rear. By '68 record companies wanted to short cut the printing process and the format peephole appeared. We also have an original Decca inner sleeve too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In super condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of slightest marks per side, a couple of superficial trails - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A superb clean signalled player. If you looking for absolute best audio - I would take a careful look at this one. A couple of isolated crackles in 'Highway'. One isolated click in 'Dust My Blues'. Other than that this a cracking player. You can keep cranking it and it will de-liver! Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex-) Very smart looking indeed and many of these examples have been trashed over the years. Shiny clean and flat front with just one crease in the bottom right. The rear has avoided much of the ageing process - just light evidence at extremities. A small sticker removal mark extreme bottom right on the rear. Minimal edge wear. The spine is 99% intact with a couple of minor stress creases. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inners (Vg+) Aged a little. Bag present.  No issues. No splits.
