Description
FRANK SINATRA'S Rarest LP 1966 Budweiser -- Only 1,000 ever made
This is an auction for what must be the rarest of all Frank Sinatra's many records.
This is for an extremely rare 1966 LP Frank Sinatra / CBS TV special "A Man & His Music Part II" which was sponsored by Budweiser. This on the Reprise label and is a mono record, No. 5004. There were supposedly only 1,000 of these records ever made. There are very few records from major stars that have smaller pressings than that. In addition, this record wasn't available in stores, but was only sent out to Budweiser wholesalers, and highly placed managers and such who were out to promote the airing of the next Frank Sinatra / CBS TV special “A Man & His Music” which Budweiser sponsored.
This was the seventh time that Sinatra had a TV special, but it was the first that he'd done one for CBS. Taped June 5-6, 1966, at the NBC studios in Burbank, the special guest star was Nancy Sinatra, who came on and sang several numbers by herself, as you'll hear here. The back of the album cover gives all the details. It was to air on December 7th, 1966, at 9:10 E.S.T.

Condition This example isn’t in its original cellophane wrap, and although not mint is in great condition (see photos). The label on each side of the album looks great. The vinyl has a slight dullish film on it, but I will let a true aficionado clean that properly. The album is free of skips and is perfectly flat (no warping at all). I think you will be very pleased with the condition. The best you’re likely to ever see. This album also includes the original dust jacket protecting the record and advertising other currently selling albums such as Nancy Sinatra’s “Boots” and “The Sammy Davis Jr. Show” albums.
Shipping The winning bidder will pay $15.00 US shipping and handling charges for delivery in a securely and well padded shipping box. Insurance is recommended, but optional, and is $6.00. I will ship this album to you upon receipt of payment. I prefer payment by PayPal, but also accept money orders, personal checks and cash. I will sell and ship to those outside of the U S, but the shipping cost will be more and will have to be established after close of the auction. Payment is expected within 10 days of end of auction.
You will probably never see another starting price for this album as low as this again.
Thank you so much for your interest in Frank and his music, and in this special album.
