This auction is for 54 USA compilation LPs, all are NOW DELETED and NOT AVAILABLE! These cost £8.00 EACH when new in the 1980s, but now YOU CAN'T GET THEM ANYMORE!

The series is all on the USA RELIC label and titled THE GOLDEN GROUPS. Each LP contains 16 to 20 tracks of THE RAREST and MOST VALUABLE doowop ever issued. Each LP has comprehensive sleeve notes with ARTIST & RECORDING INFO, PHOTOS, many CATALOG NUMBERS and RELEASE DATES. Mainly covers 1956-61
The term DOOWOP broadly covers several rapidly changing eras & styles of music...

Early R&B Jump and Early Doowop ballads pre 1955.

The Rock & Roll doowop sound rockers & Ballads from 1956 to 1959.

The lesser known & currently hot EARLY SOUL SOUND covering 1959 to 1962.

This later era includes the DOOWOP GROUP early 60s revival.
MANY UNRELEASED EXCLUSIVE TRACKS HERE and MANY THAT JUST DON'T TURN UP EVER!

Condition of the Vinyl is generally Near Mint to Mint, 49 of the 54 are in the SHRINKWRAP still. Once cover is only EX with a small split at the top, the rest are Near Mint or better.
