Description
A TRAIN "A" Train Vinyl Sooto Record SR-002, Private Pressing Funk/soul/R & B from 1979. This is a semi desirable release on a small label out of Louisiana. Not sure if the Sooto or the Southern Star release came first. Discogs says both were released in 1979. Back cover says it was recorded by George Clinton, but not sure if it's THAT George Clinton. The album is very clean, I would call it VG+. It does have a slight "warp", but if I didn't mention it, you may not notice it. I track at 1.5 grams and the needle didn't come close to skipping. The record plays very cleanly/quietly. The record does have some inner sleeve rubbing marks on it, but otherwise looks shiny and new. I don't see any spindle marks. The cover is clean with no ring wear on the front, but a bit of it and rubbing on the back. The cover does have some stains in a couple of spots that I pictured. No seem splits. I will give the cover also a VG+ because the stains/imperfections do not dominate the cover. It will be shipped in a poly sleeve with the record not in the cover.
