Brazilian tinged lounge jazz masterpiece by the cult arranger. Our IL Grande Colpo Dei 7 Uomini D'Oro item is the superior sounding score and sequel film to Sette Uomini D'Oro aka Seven Gold Men. Trovajoli at his ever sophisticated and stylish using the legendary I Marc 4 studio group with the Alessandroni Singers and a crack percussion combo led by Brazilian drummer, Luciano Perrone from Rio De Janeiro. Superb mood music created for a sci-fi cum pop art - crime caper - lighthearted adventure film directed by Marco Vicario starring Rossana Podesta / Philippe Leroy and Gastone Moschin. Garish and sexy like a high camp espionage spy movie of the period with a jazz score given a severe exotic twist due to the storyline and faux film locations. We have recorded several variations of key themes for our soundclip, opening with a long sample from the alternative version of SEVEN GOLD MEN with the funky drum and bass movements of I Marc 4 (sounding very similar to that unreleased L'Arcidiavolo film theme ;) / the incredible batucada and break-beat jazz drums of ESQUENTANDO OS TAMBORINE e CUICAS / ROSSANA BOSSA NOVA (vers.2) features the sexy wordless vocals of Alessandroni's wife, Giulia De Mutiis into SAMBA N.1 ANDAMENTO then SEVEN GOLDEN MEN (a funky jazzier version with aggressive vocal harmony) / CUICA (another crazy samba with afro Brazilian percussion and jazz drums) / a jazz variation of ROSSANA with sweeping strings - whistles by Alessandroni and burlesque blasts from Trovajoli's orchestra / SAMBA N.2 ANDAMENTO etc etc. Our soundclip finishes with full version of SEVEN GOLDEN MEN (the 1st theme of this soundtrack score with the I Marc 4 beats ;) Great for DJs. Like we said before, this sequel totally destroys the Sette Uomini D'Oro Cam CDR 33 soundtrack. Our item is also the desirable promotional issue too. Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG jazzy

Vinyl is closer to shiny M- condition overall regardless of any old faint (blue hued) residue from the original pressing process (visible in the deadwax areas in between certain trax). Minimal hairlines from storage / sleeve removal. Booming production sound. Light surface noises. A few soft pops in places (as you can hear on our soundclip). Item taken from an unplayed deadstock of records and played once for the recording of the soundclip. The laminated thin card gatefold sleeve is in strong VG++ condition with some corner dings and light wear in general. Some ring wear marks (front and back) with some ink bleeding to back sleeve. A few areas of creasing from storage (to parts of the inner and outer gatefold). A few rub marks / wear marks to middle bottom edge. Still a sharp looking item. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. very rare OST Lp!!! science fiction fetish
