Description
"A Vile Peace" compilation LP released in 1987 on Peaceville Records. This is the very first Peaceville release. VILE 1. Seminal comp of crust hardcore, grindcore, fast hardcore, d-beat and metal punk. The origins of grindcore (Scum was released the same year). The 5 Electro Hippies songs are killer. My personal fave is Insurrection who play in the style of a speeded up Discharge with insane bass playing. Their LP is incredible (i'll be posting it soon actually).
Condition: Cover is in really nice condition. Shows slight wear but there's no dents, creases, bends, warping etc. Super sturdy. Insert is near mint. Looks close to new. Vinyl is in excellent condition as this was only played a few times. There are no light scratches or other imperfections. Plays beautifully, with no loud pops or surface noise. I doubt you'll find an overall nicer copy.
