*I believe only around 100,000 of these A1/B1 1st press Mono slabs of vinyl were pressed in the UK-as opposed to almost 5,000,000 in the US...Now they're getting vey hard to find*

This baby was released to the world back in 1967 and wow, what an effect it had! Now you can hear what all the fuss was about, with this very 1st pressing of this incredible album.

QUALITY 150g
I have given her a gentle vacuum clean and then popped her onto my Focus One deck, with an SME arm and listened to her-all the way through.
I am very happy to report she plays all the way through WITHOUT any jumps/skips or sticks.
The audio reproduction remains clean...All I really noticed was a some VERY light and VERY OCCASIONAL background crackle in small sections of playback, BUT it certainly did not ruin my enjoyment of this earliest pressing-it just reminded me I am listening to history and not an MPEG!
FLAT AS THE DAY SHE WAS BORN.
Visually there are some light marks/scuffs to the vinyl but NOTHING to make her jump or skip on my deck-even when the arm was set at it's lightest :).
She still plays through with vigour and in glorious MONO.
The audio really is wonderfully clean and clear, with 3rd Stone From The Sun really shining out with clarity!

The Labels:
EX.
Lovely and clean, with just a handful of traces of spindle marks when angled towards the light and looking for them.
They are the very 1st labels, with the "Schroeder/(Yameta)" credit to the bottom of BOTH sides.
Very displayable.

The Cover:
VG+.
Again-this is the 1st pressing run here....With the front lamination, but card backing.
The bottom right corner to the back carries the EJ Day credit and PATENT PENDING as well-if you needed any more convincing of this being the very 1st pressing of this iconic cover.
NO WRITING
NO TEARS.
There is wear/rubbing to the spine, but not quite all the way through.
She just carries just a few lines of spidering to the front laminate-please see the detailed images for yoursleves.

The Inner:
EX.
It is the ORIGINAl poly-lined "Plastic Bags Can Be Dangerous" inner and in great condition too..Free from splits or writing, just has age discolouration to the paper-a bit like me :)
