You are bidding on this Rare Antiquity of Recorded Music. This is a 10 inch, 78 rpm Brown Shellac, Single Sided Flat Disc that is approximately 102 years old and still sounds good. The Spindle Hole has the Brass insert moulded in the Disc. The B Side is moulded with the “BERLINER – GRAM-O-PHONE” Logo and the “Victor, His Master’s Voice” Trademark. Here is your opportunity to own a piece of history that dates back to almost the very beginning of the Music Recording Industry and the birth of a new genre of Musical entertainment.

This is an Original Canadian Single Sided Pressing and bears a Patent Date of ‘’Feb. 24, 1897.’’ The Label Print is “CONCERT GRAND, The BERLINER GRAM-O-PHONE Company of Canada Ltd.RECORD, E. BERLINER” with the Patented Date, Title, Artist and Trademark.’’ This is a rare Demonstration and Advertising Record extolling the quality of the their “Talking Machine” and about owning one.
This recording is on the “Berliner Gram-O-Phone“ Label and is labelled “No. 2” pressed approximately “1904.”
