MEGA-RARE, outstanding flawless MINTY copy of this mhytical LP by master Alessandroni. 1972 date stamped on matrix which places this as the EARLIEST 1st PRESS of this record. We know now from certain sources this 1st press was previously released in June 1972 on 100 COPIES only for TV programmers and then repressed 2 years later 1974 on around 200 or even 300 copies. Both versions usually come with a distribution sticker on back cover. A unique, one-off opportunity to get the earliest 1st press of this fantastic Library!
One of the most desired sessions (and reported to be Alessandroni's own favourite recording) of whole Italian Library catalogue, SUPERB LP issued on micro press as usual for the highly collectable Sermi label. This record is exquisitely crafted Italian Mood music; propulsive Bossa infected with mild lysergic delirium. Enchanting Harpsichord melodies measured against scowling Giallo style guitars, mournful string arrangements and the sublimely plaintive voice of Edda Dell’Orso. Long regarded as the backbone of the Italian OST sound, here is Maestro Alessandroni in all his own lush Psychedelic glory. Mithycal artwork too, impressionist/abstract art probably inspired by some famed painting or painter and maybe conceived by himself. Top of the top Edda Dell'Orso's scatting vocals, top Lounge music and Romantic themes composed in straight cinematic way. Actually considering the music could be easily a Film Soundtrack instead of a Library LP. Breathtaking!
