ABBA
“4 EXITOS”
ULTRA MEGARARE original RCA VICTOR Records, very first Stereo press released in Chile in 1980, made by EMI Odeon Chilena S.A. (EMI Records Chile), distributed by Sociedad Chilena De Ediciones Musicales (SOCHEM), a Polar Music Production, licensed from RCA Corporation, with RARE bright black/silver RCA Victor Records labels (with colored “RCA Victor” lettering and dog logo), catalog number 32000, with hand etched matrix numbers 32000A in Side A and 32000 in Side B. Yes Sirs, ANOTHER GREAT FIND FROM CHILE!!!
This 33 1/3 EP is one of the rarest records of ABBA worldwide!!! It’s an UNIQUE COMPILATION of 4 hits sung in Spanish and English (only “The Winner Takes It All” is sung in English) released only in Chile and with an UNIQUE PICTURE SLEEVE!!!
Side A
1 ANDANTE ANDANTE
2 GRACIAS POR LA MUSICA (Thank You For The Music)
Side B
1 VA TODO AL GANADOR (The Winner Takes It All)
2 DAME – DAME – DAME (Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!)
As always, we have something interesting fact to notice in this UNIQUE AND EXCLUSSIVE CHILEAN EP, the matrix number doesn’t give any additional information, not even the date of pressing so usual in Chilean releases of those years, only the catalog number in Side B, not even identifying the side. In labels it’s informed this record was “made by EMI Odeon Chilena” and “distributed by Sociedad Chilena de Ediciones Musicales” but in back cover it’s informed “made and distributed by “Sociedad Chilena De Ediciones Musicales”. And the song “Dame – Dame – Dame” is translated to English like “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!” but the original title is “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)”. This EP, “4 EXITOS”, is really A MUST TO HAVE for ABBA collectors, as already said, it’s one of the rarest records released by ABBA, it has an UNIQUE PICTURE SLEEVE with a blue tinted picture of ABBA members and ABBA sings 3 songs in Spanish!!! And both record and cover are in GREAT CONDITION!!! See the pictures!!!
This single comes in an UNIQUE PICTURE SLEEVE blue tinted with the same design for front and back cover, made of thin cardboard, which’s in EX condition, complete and clean, with mild wear in edges and corners, faint ring marks and a little blemish in front cover, but no writings, no marks, no rips, no seam splits at all!!! Record is in EX or EX+ condition, it’s glossy and clean, with light hairlines and scuffs, which don’t affect the sound. Labels are in great NM or even NM+ condition both sides, clean and clear, with only very minimal spindle wear. Sound is in great EX- or EX condition the Side A, loud and clear, no background noise (background noise was normal in records from Chile), but some light crackles and hiss in the beginning of “Andante Andante”, and in EX+ or NM- condition the Side B, loud and clear, with no background noise, only some light occasional crackles, which of course don’t distract from the great sound this EP keeps from the beginning to the end. Overall an ULTRA MEGARARE record with BLACK RCA VICTOR LABELS in stunning condition, with an UNIQUE PICTURE SLEEVE in still great condition, a great glossy look and amazing sound quality after 32 years!!! And keep in mind this EP was ONLY RELEASED IN CHILE!!! Yes Sirs, WHAT A FIND AGAIN!!! Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the labels and cover in detail. WOW!!!

We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.
MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.
NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

FEEDBACK
We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
IMPORTANT TO READ
We are not responsible for all the taxes, duties, fees you could have to pay in your country, but I always declare the records as gift.
