Description
I offer for auction, this MINT condition ABBA LIVE AT WEMBLEY ARENA Limited Edition 180g 3LP set.
This is the complete November 10, 1979 Concert Captured at the Height of ABBA's career.
After 5 yrs in the public spotlight, ABBA played London’s Wembley Arena in November 1979. Their concerts in London, in the late 80's, had already become massively popular, as they rarely toured. So this concert was "over the top". Abba was made up of writers Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, and the incomparable vocals of Agnetha Fältskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. ABBA shot to international fame by winning the Eurovision Song Contest in Brighton UK in 1974. The rest is history.
When ABBA took the stage, their experience and professionalism showed. Everyone was amazed that the group could reproduce their studio sound live – and sometimes even better live! The backing musicians were the best from Sweden. This is ABBA at the peak of their live performance career - a must for any record collection.ABBA Live At Wembley Arena Track Listing:
