About the release: I have asked in one of the ABBA collectors groups about this release, they had no additional information other than it is considered "real". The record is the Mamma Mia that was issued in Denmark with a nice 2 colour Picture Sleeve, but this sleeve was produced in relation to a fight about selling "Abba Herring" in Denmark. So the company BUKO released this as a provocative statement because they could no longer sell this type of herring. Thats why the heading text says "Ajö och tack" meaning "Bye and thank you!"(Sarcastic).
I have NEVER seen this before and it must be a serious gem to ABBA collectors! Don't Sleep!
The text on the backside can be google translated to:
It is with regret that we must inform you that from today no longer has exclusive rights to Abba herring in Denmark. The decision is due to import tax from Sweden has increased since Sweden as we know, is not connected to the EC. Abba currently has negotiations underway with other Danish companies to take over the distribution of Abba herring in Denmark, but there is currently no clear results. Of course we will immediately inform you when there is established a new contract for Abba herring. Their bonus in the current bonus year will of course be charged to you as soon as possible. We thank you for the good cooperation we have had over the years. Sincerely BUKO-OST A/S
Record;. Visible light marks and hairlines to vinyl. Plays very decent with a light crackle. Although the record is not the interesting since this was released!
Sleeve; The sleeve is nice with no splits, tears or writing. Please inspect the pictures for the small things, such as bumped corners you should notice before bidding
My grading: I use the goldmine graduation because it is the most useful graduation system. I grade all the way from Excellent to P(oor), which means a VG record is NOT a busted record. Keep this in mind when you bid on my auctions; many sellers grade from NM to VG by using Ex+, Ex, Ex-, VG++, VG+ etc. which in the end means a VG record is a busted record and this is not the idea of the grading system. I don't grade NM unless the record has been in my own collection since new. The highest grade I give used records, which haven't been in my own collection since new, is Ex.
