Description

"Straight Ahead" contains Abbey's fine vocals over a stellar group - Max Roach, Eric Dolphy, Coleman Hawkins, Booker Little, Mal Waldron and Julian Priester. Side One contains 3 cuts- "Straight Ahead", "When Malindy Sings" and "In The Red". Side Two has "Blue Monk", "Left Alone", "African Lady" and "Retribution".

I found this album sealed and  opened it  for a few reasons- I wanted to make sure it was an original (it is) and there was a seam split on the bottomof the plastic. It appears that the album was stored somewhere where it was  damp. Both the front and back cover have light brown marks that  don't show up in the pictures. The cover is solid- no seam splits etc. The vinyl is nice and glossy with no scratches etc. and was never played. The album also includes a customer comment card from Candid Records.
