ON TO MORE LPs OF VARIOUS STYLES!!  This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL LATE 1960s ERA U.S. BRANDIE RECORDS PRIVATE PRESS MONO LP titled 'The Backbone Of America Is A Mule And Cotton' from folk / blues traditionalist Abner Jay.  It is Brandie Records catalog number 122161/2, red labels with black print.  Tracks: The Backbone Of America Is A Mule And Cotton, My Old Kentucky Home, Oh Susanna, Camp Town Races, Old Folk At Home, Old Black Joe, Amazing Grace, Old Rugged Cross, Steal Away, Deep River, Them Golden Slippers, How Great Thou Art.  I have to grade this record as a VG even though it appears to be an  unplayed NM or played maybe once, due to the presence of one tiny pit in the play surface which appears to be a slight manufacturing defect and not the result of use - This small pit will cause ticks for a few revolutions, hence the VG grading.  Condition of cover is conservatively a high VG+ with the original shrinkwrap still surrounding the cover, and with small mildew stains at the bottom corners of the back cover and a little bit of wear along the open edge edges and on the corners on the open edge as the only real flaws.  Cover has no splits, tears, writing, or stickers.  This LP would be a choice addition to any folk / blues or Americana record collection!
