ACCELERATORS | 1979 SoCal KBD punk  

 

ACCELERATORS: It's Cool To Rock (Wide Open 1979) The Dirty Dogs from Laramie, Wyoming saw the writing on the wall early on and split for Los Angeles, changing their name to the Accelerators along the way.  A newer and cleaner-sounding version of Sorority Girl was recycled from the obscenely rare Dirty Dogs 45 and 4 new tracks were recorded, including the 41-second punker, All Right.  Guitarist Eric Ambel went on to play with numerous groups after the Accelerators including Joan Jett, Del-Lords, Nils Lofgren and Steve Earle.  Top-notch copy!
