Description

Up for sale: A killer 1980 original U.S. first pressing of AC/DC – Back in Black (Atlantic SD 16018), the legendary album that launched Brian Johnson and became one of the best-selling rock records of all time (50M+ copies worldwide). This is the real 1980 Atlantic pressing (check photos), with the classic black embossed cover and original inner sleeve (lyrics/photos).
Grading (Goldmine standards):

  • Vinyl/Record: Near Mint (NM) / Excellent (EX) – appears perfect/no obvious wear, glossy surfaces, plays beautifully with minimal to no surface noise, pops, or clicks. No skips, warps, or deep marks.
  • Jacket/Cover: VG+ to Excellent – strong spine, vibrant colors/embossing, only minor rubbing/edge wear from years of upright storage next to other albums (no splits, writing, major creases, or ring wear).
  • Original inner sleeve: Excellent – intact, clean, no tears or heavy wear.
