Description

Here is a VERY RARE Japan pressing of AC/DC legendary album "Back In Black" This is a very rare promo/sample pressing from Warner/Atlantic Japan

Records.  Over all this item is in very nice shape with some light ring wear on the cover and a light corner creece near the top left side of the jacket near the obi. This would be a killer Christmas gift of serious fans and collectors! If you have any questions please ask before bidding!

NOTE

I noticed a couple of days ago there was some residue on side one of the vinyl/wax. I went to have it cleaned at a record shop with vinyl cleaner on a turntable. We looked at it and the residue has the imprint of the actual album covers indentation of "AC/DC" and part of "back". This was sometimes common with record labels manufacturers/workers put the wax inside the jacket to early, the inside plastic sleeve would soften and leave residue on the actual wax. This was considered a mistake in the early days.

But in this case you could consider it a rare and unique situation which may increase the value of a pressing, especially since this is a Japanese promo/sample pressing. The Japanese record labels are very careful and take great care in manufacturing their pressings off the original recording tapes and used much better materials than the U.S. and Europe when producing cd and or vinyl. This I am sure you know as collectors.

If you angle the wax under light you with see the defect.

Japanese record label manufacturers rarely mess up on a production or just plain manufacturing in general.  Probably back then it was considered shameful and probably still considered this today.
