Description
AC/DC Back in Black LP 1980 First Australian Press Albert APLP046 Red Labels VG+ overall.
Sleeve is fairly battered as per the pictures but still holds together fine and contains original insert. Insert is gatefold which signifies first press, where 2nd was an envelope. Sleeve is also gloss rather than matte - again indicating first press. I would grade the sleeve as VG.
LP itself has many superficial scratches - i have added the main one to the pictures. However these do not affect playback to the degree of being audible 95% of the time, so i would rate it VG+. As it's a loud record you only hear some minor crackle between tracks or in quiet sections ... but as per general record grading i would say VG+ .. but to my ears it is closer to EX. But - visually it does look very scratchy under a light. The main scratch pictured is not audible and is smooth when a finger is run over it.
Red labels with strobe pattern also indicate first pressing in 1980.

I have tested the record a handful of times to ensure it is graded correctly. There are no skips and the record plays great - a very solid LP in terms of listening that doesn't look too pretty. So if it's a great listening copy you are after this is for you.
Hope it goes to a good home that plays it loud - you won't be disappointed !
I have tried to be as descriptive as possible so buyers know they are getting a great listening copy, with the above mentioned visual flaws.
Good luck !
