Description
AC/DC - Backtracks
Deluxe Collectors Edition released in the USA in 2009 on Columbia Records.
The 12"x12"x4" (30cm*30cm*10cm) exterior box is designed to resemble a vintage AC/DC guitar amplifier and also has the original logo that was spray-painted onto the rear of Angus and Malcolm Young's speaker cabinets in 1975. The “head” of the amp has a handle that lifts the top off to reveal the contents housed within. The head is also a working guitar amplifier. It is a one watt amplifier. - Never been used and still has battery attached. If you check YouTube there is a video somewhere of Angus Young playing it !
Contents :
1 LP - Still sealed (I think that this release was unique to this box)
3 x CD's & 2 x DVD's housed in a fold out hardback book type packaging
164-Page Hard Back Coffee Table book with lots of rare photos
Original memorabilia reproductions:
"I Do it For AC/DC" 2"inch button, a sticker, a "Lock Up Your Daughters" Tour Flyer, King Street Studio Track Sheet for "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" Multitracks, a Bon Scott Temporary Tattoo, "Moneytalks" Bill, AC/DC Guitar Pick, set of Three 20cm by 25cm art lithographs and a 60cm by 90cm, 1977 "Let There Be Rock" European Tour Poster.
I bought this when it came out and none of the contents have been played or used, therefore everything is as new. Please Note : The first photo shown is a standard stock photo, just so you can see what you get. All other photos are of my item and will be what you get
I always let my auctions run to the end, so there is no 'Buy it Now' price - Please Don't ask, as your question will be ignored.
Postage & Packing :
As you can imagine, this item is heavy, so realistically this is going to be a UK only auction. Insured courier will be £10 to the UK mainland. If the buyer is in the London/South East area, then I may choose to delivery it myself. You can also pick up from Redhill, Surrey (10 mins off Jct 8 M25)
Overseas Buyers - If you really want this item then please contact me for a shipping quote, but be warned you would be looking at approx. cost of £65 to the European mainland and £100+ to the US. You may well also incur custom charges which would be your responsibility to pay.
