rare and highly sought after three track 1977 UK picture sleeve MAXI single released to publicise and celebrate the band's 1977 UK tour (tour venues and dates are on the reverse side of the picture sleeve) on the ATLANTIC record label, K 10899

The condition of the vinyl (both sides) is EXCELLENT: virtually all of the original sheen has been retained with no nasty scuffs or below the surface scratches. Closer inspection reveals a number of strictly surface only hairlines and on side 2 a 3cm pencil mark scuff, again surface only and not adversely affecting the overall excellent sound quality...
The quality of the audio is also EXCELLENT - all three tracks contain no obvious clicks, hiss, jumps or distortion; there is some very mild background crackle, only really noticeable at the beginning and end of each side, and the very occasional low level "click", but there is no obvious reason for any of these minor faults and overall the audio quality is brilliant...a great, great listen throughout. Classic AC/DC played loud - you can't beat it!!

As the photos testify, the labels are NEAR MINT with all print totally legible and the original colouring still in stark evidence. No blemishes whatsoever, not even a single stray spindle trace.
Comes in original ATLANTIC flipback picture sleeve is in overall EXCELLENT condition : the front of the sleeve, with vibrant colouring, is difficult to fault, with just some minimal fraying on the top edge; the corners are well defined and each edge is fully intact with no tears or splits. The reverse side is in very good condition - there is a little ringwear, some slight fraying on the top opening edge and also on the right side flipback. This is the original picture sleeve "made in England by Gothic Print Finishers Ltd., London SE9 2EQ".
A scarce and much sought after MAXI single, in great condition, with AC/DC at their inimitable best...who could ask for more?!

My record grading adheres to the “Record Collector” guide, which has established a set of standards for the condition of second-hand records. These indicate the amount of wear and tear the disc, sleeve, and other items (such as lyric inserts) have been subject to and the condition that they are in at present. The seven standard condition categories, and descriptions of what each one means, are listed below:

Mint

The records itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items, such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and /or creasing.

Very Good

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents are torn, stained and/or defaced

Poor

The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents are badly damaged or partly missing.

Bad

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
