Description

AC/DC Highway To Hell Vinyl 1st Press Blue Label

Has a deep couple of scratches on track 1, which makes the needle jump in a few places (but not get stuck or repeat though when playing on my turntable).

The rest of the record plays mostly VG (crackles and pops during quieter passages and inbetween tracks).

Cover has ringwear, edgewear, creases and markings, but otherwise pretty much intact besides a couple of tears which have been taped on the underside (see the pictures).

Very Good (VG)

Many of the defects found in a Very Good Plus record will be more pronounced in a Very Good item. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song’s intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time.

To all those bidding on this item, just thought I'd give you more clarification on the 1st track deep scratches.  When listening to track 1 'Highway to Hell' the first half of the song plays fine and then during the second half in a few spots the needle jumps forward a bit at times as the scratches are more along the direction of the grooves rather than across them.  Sound wise that means that when you are listening to the track in that second half of the song the sound jumps ahead a in the song at times.  I hope that clarifies the main issue with that track.
