AC/DC: Highway to Hell, Original LP
Purchased by me back in the day and very well looked after ever since as part of my personal record collection. The LP remains in superb condition for 40 years old with barely any edge wear from storage and still a nice sharp readable spine. There is no damage like seam splits or biro writing on the sleeve. The vinyl has a lovely glossy sheen and has been kept in a polylined sleeve to minimise static and protect the record from general scratches and scuffs caused when it’s taken out of the sleeve and put away again. I have just wet cleaned it in my professional record cleaning machine with the award winning L’Art Du Son cleaning fluid so it is free from static and in the best possible condition for the next owner to enjoy. Following the clean I have test played both sides all the way through on my Project Debut Carbon fitted with an Ortofon 2M Blue stylus. It sits perfectly flat on the deck and plays through beautifully with only the lightest hint of warm vinyl crackle on the run ins and between a couple of the tracks. Sounds awesome, fully dynamic and a much warmer, natural analogue sound than the recent vinyl reissues sourced from remastered digital files. No skipping, sticking or jumping and no annoying loud clicks and pops.
