Description

Credited with being one of the greatest live albums of all time, this is AC/DC at their best. This is recorded in their country of birth, Scotland at the Apollo theatre in Glasgow. They are welcomed with huge cheers and right from the start give an awesome performance. This was released just after Powerage. Rather than do a Best-of album which the record company wanted, they put out a live release. By the late '70's most rock bands were experimenting with synthesisers and AC/DC stands out as the main band that kept a hard rock sound with its roots firmly planted in the Blues. So this is a standout album for its time.
