Description
This is the sixth single released by AC/DC, (one of three released in 1976, the others being "TNT" and "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap) and is a classic from their early years. Side one,"Jailbreak" is full on hard rock from start to finish, it's easy to understand why they became so popular, side two "Fling Thing" is an instrumental version of the old Scottish song "Loch Lomond", a good indication of the band's confidence and sense of humor. "Jailbreak" was included on the Australian issue of the "Dirty Deeds Done Cheap" LP, but not on the international version of that album and was not released internationally until the 1984 EP " '74 Jailbreak". The vinyl on side one is clean and shiny, with hairline paper scuff but no scratches, it plays loud and clear with some low level surface noise on the run in track, and a couple of low level crackles in the first couple of spins, masked when the full band kicks in.(VG). Side two is also clean and shiny, with some more noticeable scuffs, but no scratches. There is low level surface noise on the run in track and a few low level crackles heard in the pauses in the music on this side, but it still plays through loud and clear(G+), with no skips or loud crackles. The cover is clean with no writing or stickers, however there is some creasing and some small tears around the opening(VG)
