AC/DC Japan Tour '81 Picture Disc - Promo Only - Not for resale
Very rarely does a true collectors item of this nature come up for sale on ebay.
I am selling my entire collection of Picture discs, acetates (rarest form of any pressing), promo LP's and singles which were all collected from the early to late '80's.
This item should interest you, even if you don't like AC/DC, as unlike most other picture disc LP's, EP's and singles, which were sold at the same time as a new release in limited numbers on the same shelves as the singles themselves, this is a PROMOTION ONLY item, which was NEVER for public sale.
There were 2 versions produced, one with a CLEAR RIM, and this one with a BLACK RIM.
In the 2000 edition of RECORD COLLECTOR (The Bible) this one was valued at £100, and the clear rim one valued at £120 - That was 5 years ago!
See the pictures attached, it may be even rarer than the normal issues as The reverse side is upside down, I don't know whether that makes it an EVEN RARER MISPRESSING or it was meant to be like that (Though I doubt it was mean so).
Snap up yourself a real investment at a realistic reserve, this has been tucked away for nearly 20 years in the loft, and brought back great memories of Angus Young headbanging with his school shorts on!!!!!!
