Description
AC/DC – Powerage LP Original Australian 1978 pressing VG++/G.
The much-coveted original Australian pressing of iconic Australian rock ‘n’ roll band AC/DC’s seventh studio album, Powerage, from 1978.
The vinyl has been thoroughly cleaned and is in top condition with only one blemish, a 4mm “scuff” on side 1, track 3, which does not effect play at all and which you can only see if you’re looking for it. The vinyl has retained a strong gloss with a few very minor hairlines only visible in direct light and plays through beautifully with NO surface noise, pops or clicks and very minor, barely perceptible surface noise for only a couple of seconds during the run-in on each side.
Vinyl confidently graded at VG+. Would be close to NM if not for the wee scuff.
Sleeve is intact apart from a slight 1 inch split in the middle of the spine. However, it has suffered from ring wear/storage wear, and previous owner(s) reinforced the spine with tape then removed it causing damage, as you can see from the photos.
Copies with only G+ grading for the vinyl are listed for £100+ on discogs.
If you’re not too fussed about sleeve condition when the all-important vinyl is in top condition, this is the copy for you.
