VOL.1 BOX SET
AC/DC Vol.1 BOX SET, Albert Productions 465921-1, red label Australian pressings, released 1989, original Australian covers and track listings, 6 LP's in plastic box.
This box set contains their first six LP's (i.e. those featuring the late Bon Scott as vocalist):
HIGH VOLTAGE (Cat.no 465250 1)
T.N.T (Cat.no 465262 1)
DIRTY DEEDS DONE CHEAP (Cat.no 465258 1)
LET THERE BE ROCK (Cat.no 465256 1)
POWERAGE (Cat.no 465260 1)
HIGHWAY TO HELL (Cat.no 465261 1)
Condition:
Records - HIGH VOLTAGE - is graded NM (near mint), whilst T.N.T, DIRTY DEEDS DONE CHEAP, LET THERE BE ROCK , POWERAGE, and HIGHWAY TO HELL are all graded EX due to a few surface scuffs here and there and the occasional surface hairline (none of which affect the sound in any way).
All 6 LPs play perfectly with powerful dynamics. Labels are exceptionally clean without marks or writing.
Covers - NM: All covers are in near mint condition, without ring wear, ink loss, writing, or stickers . There is neglible creasing. Absolutely superb covers.
Plastic box and cover insert - plastic box intact without cracking/splits (although there is an inconspicuous 1cm long line on one side of the lid that may eventually form a split) , the lid still very translucent despite numerous light surface scuffs. Front of cover insert in excellent condition ,very clean ,without marks or writing. Side flaps of cover insert with considerable creasing and with about five tears in total around the insert (these are from the lid not being put on properly at times).
In summary, this is a hard-to-obtain Australian release AC/DC vinyl box set in fantastic condition containing the first 6 lp's of this iconic band featuring the one-and-only Bon Scott on vocals. Definitely a most welcome addition to any AC/DC collection.
