Description
You get a very rare 12-inch 78 rpm "Acetate" single from "Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures".....Acetates are the first "Vinyl" pressing of any record and only a handful are released......"Simple Little System"......which could be an "Un-Released" (Anybody Know?) song from a film? or from the film "Bells Are Ringing"...A film from 1960 with Screen Play and Musical Lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolf Green.....Music by Jule Styne....At least three of my Acetates were from the film and all recordings are from the same time period (EXCEPT THIS ONE IS MONTHS LATER) and all have the 1760 Production Number.....Rare 12-inch "Two-sided" 78 rpm (Even though it says 80 RPM at bottom of label)....Has same song and same printing on both sides of label.......All printing is kinda light on label so picture is blurry but i can read it from here.......Top of Acetate label reads:...."Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures"......Production number...1760......2421-1....Recorded December 16, 1959...I could not play this 78 RPM recording (which would be nice to find out if it is a male or female or both singing)......So all grading is "Visual Grading"....Vinyl is over-all VG+ with lite scuffs and such and is still in pretty nice shape after 50+ years of storage.......Each side has 4 grease pencil marking around each label on both sides......Comes with custom "Audiodiscs" sleeve which are only usually found on "Test Pressings" and "Acetates".....I combine shipping...So check out the other rare "ACETATES" i have for sale.....But you Better Bid on It Now
