This is a real find- a treasure! Arthur Lee vinyl pieces have long been desirable and extremely listenable items. He was ( and is again) the driving force behind the 60's group ,LOVE. LOVE's ulitmate Garage /Psych Sound influenced groups like Pink Floyd and their driving, haunting renditions of "Hey Joe" or "My Little Red Book" are unforgettable. Arthur Lee was sent to prison on a weapons charge and there are still questions about the severity of his sentence. Always creative and brilliant he has a 2004 tour going with LOVE-- Can't wait.

Now to the goodies: His 1972 VINDICATOR LP on A&M Records # SP-4356 Stereo is pure Arthur Lee genius. I am preenting for sale 2 Copies of this classic LP. 

1. The Original April 14, 1972 full Lp ACETATE of this album. It is likely the ONLY ONE IN EXISTENCE! The vinyl is good and this plays perfectly. You can see the metal base at two small places on the edge - there is no effect on the record play! Acetates were test pressings of vinyl over metal and were not meant to be as durable as the mass produced LP product. ACTETATES  are RARE  in any case but for an artist of this magnitude and collectibility this is MEGA RARE. the label is typed on a standard blamk A&M logo label. someone has taken pen and lined through the selections but they are still readable. I can't tell for sure if these tracks coorespond to the released product or have some differences. This is one you must have!

2. I am also placing in this sale a 1972 white label PROMOTION COPY of this same LP. The vinyl is good with gloss and minor surface scuffing. It plays well. Labels are clean with no writing. The cover is shelf worn ( see photo) but has no major structure problems. "tony" is written on the front. I am selling these two with a reserve - I don't want to get rid of them but we have needs and my collection has to go. The tracks on BOTH  LPs are:  Side 1: Sad song, You Can Save up to 50% But you're Still A Long Ways From Home, Love Jumped Through My Window, Find somebody, He Said She Said, Everyttime I Look Up I'm Down or White Dog.
