Original United States pressing of this hard to find album, released in 1968. This is the second LP by John Ylvisaker, and it gets a favorable review by Patrick Lundborg on page 363 of his book “Acid Archives The Second Edition”. Among the things Patrick writes are, “the Christian lounge-folkrock-psych eclectics are brought to further refinement with mindboggling results, sort of like if Elvis Presley had returned as a TV reverend,” and “Ylvisaker is a sharp guy with a clearer view than most, and combined with the pro sounding music and powerful vocals he creates an impressive, memorable experience”.
COVER: The cover is still partly in shrink wrap. The shrink wrap plastic is intact on the front of the cover and partly torn away on the back. Overall the jacket is exceptionally well preserved. The only thing keeping this cover from grading a nice EX is a 2 inch bottom right seam split. There is also a small rub on the top right corner and lower left corner.
VINYL: The record does not appear to have had many plays, and we noticed no scratches on either side. The LP did spend many years inside the cover with a crinkled paper inner sleeve, which has now been replaced with a new one, but this caused some cosmetic surface marking on the vinyl. For this reason, we are grading this album EX.
