American jazz singer, actress, and artist.
Born: 1926 in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
Died: 6 January 1991 in Brooklyn, New York, USA (aged 64).
Moore performed on Broadway and in jazz clubs across America. She attended the University Of California at Los Angeles, and began her singing career in the city.
Moore created the role of Gladiola in a Broadway musical set in the West Indies, by Truman Capote and Harold Arlen titled "House Of Flowers" (opened 30 December 1954; closed 21 May 1955).
She lived in Brooklyn, and died of cancer at Long Island College Hospital.
