ADJEEF THE POET (His Girl(s), his friend(s) and the rest of the world(s)): Iekk! I’m a…freak/Squafreckleman comes back (Action AC 1003, HOLLAND 1967)
Ouch! I’m not using these words frequently, but here we have a REAL mega-rare item under the hammer! This is Holland’s top underground freak-out psych single and the only U.K. relation is that the incredible “Iekk! I’m a…freak” was comped on one of the “Rubble” compilations. A special note to the B-side, “Squafreckleman comes back”, it’s hilarious….like a very bad trip!
Adjeef The Poet’s real name is Ad Visser, who had his own radio program in the late 60’s/70’s (“Superclean Dream Machine”) and also presented the Dutch version of “Top of the Pops”. Nowadays he writes SF novels and is into New Age synth music.
I’ve only ever had one spare of this 45 before and that was 10 years ago, so a UNIQUE chance to obtain it PLUS I’ve never seen such a nice copy (espec. the sleeve is in 100% PERFECT nick!), so this 45 surely deserves it’s HIGH reserve price. Good luck bidding!
