AEROSMITH'S SOPHOMORE release and the first album to be produced by Jack Douglas (overseen by Bob Ezrin) commencing a fruitful partnership that saw them coast to gold and glory with several more albums in the future. 'Get Your Wings' shows the band developing their trademark sound and getting it spot on with tracks such as 'Same Old Song And Dance', 'Lord Of The Thighs' and 'Seasons Of Wither'. There is an element of experimentation on this album, similar in way to 'Draw The Line', displaying the band in a bolder light than much of their harder rockin' follow ups.

One of the most compelling, if often overlooked, Aerosmith albums and a record that has grown stronger with the advancing years.

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Pressing: Columbia, USA, 1974

Vinyl: Nice clean condition. No spindle marks and practically no signs of use. Grades as top MINT-!

Cover: Again, no signs of use - retains full printers bloom. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is stiff and square. Grades as shop fresh MINT!
