PLEASE CONSIDER THAT IN THESE EBAY AUCTIONS I USE A STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE GRADING SYSTEM THAT CAN'T DISAPPOINT ANYONE BUT THIS DOESN'T MEAN THAT ,FOR EXAMPLE, A VG+ COVER OR A VG+ VINYL IT'S EQUIVALENT TO "BAD CONDITIONS" BUT SIMPLY THAT MY GRADE IT'S STRICT AND PROBABLY EQUIVALENT TO AN EX OF SOMEONE ELSE WITH NOT A SO STRICT GRADE. I HAVE SOLD IN THESE AUCTIONS EX- RECORDS THAT WERE SURELLY M- COPIES BUT I PREFERE TO BE STRICT TO AVOID ANY DISAPPOINTEMENT BECAUSE I TAKE GREAT CARE OF MY REPUTATION.
Record Collector Magazine Grading System MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

label: the Original British Vertigo Swirl label does have just a couple of spindle marks and no others defects so EX-.
vinyl: the vinyl does not have any mark that I can see so EX.
cover: The very nice gatefold with the beautiful photo of Roger Dean look great and without ring wear as often happen for this type of matt cover, basically the only one defect it's a crease in the upper left corner and some more wear it's present in the spine where the writings are basically readables but there's some wear and a long crease in the centre all along the spine that seems like a thin superficial razor tear but it's simply a long crease...vecause this I grade the cover VG+ but she look a lot better than a VG+ ...it does have the original vertigo inner sleeve with "Made in England B 1/0470 wrote in the bottom left corner so supposed to be the original inner of this vinyl...hard to find and nicey preserved with just a hint of yellowing in the bottom.
review: Great jazzy progressive rock from this British band fronted by Linda Hoyle, with lots of nice Hammond organ and horns. The album is full of covers of other people's songs like the Alan Hull's "I Am and So Are You" (which was never recorded by his band Lindisfarne, as far as I know), Everly Brothers' "I Wonder If I Care as Much", the Lovin' Spoonful's "Coconut Grove", and Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower", plus some of their own. And it amazing how this band took on the covers, made it their own, so these aren't pale copycats. Some of the cuts have horns and one might want to compare this to Chicago or Blood, Sweat & Tears, they hardly resemble those groups despite the horns. Maybe more like Julie Driscoll with Brian Auger & the Trinity, but more progressive or the obscure Belgian band Mad Curry. "Mr. Joy" is a really pleasant number with lyrics apparently about a wind-up dildo, while "Night Flight" starts off mellow but gets more intense as it goes on. And their take on "All Along the Watchtower" makes sure you aren't mistaking this for the Dylan original or the more famous hit version from Hendrix, as this version is full of extended organ solo. "I Am and So Are You" is a song I am already familiar with from a version Capability Brown did on their album Voice in 1973. This version is unsurprisingly more jazzy, with horns. Capabitility Brown's version is more conventional '70s rock with a funkier edge (and the word "love machine" replaced by "cigarette machine") with the added on chorus that goes, "I Am, and So Are You"). A great album worthy of your attention.... don't miss this opportunity!!!
