AFI Behind The Times RARE Black Vinyl Record 7" EP OOP

AFI Behind the Times EP, pressed on 7" black vinyl. It was released on June 11th, 1993, on Key Lime Pie Records. This copy is from the first pressing, in which 400 were produced.

Chronologically, Dork was first, and Behind The Times EP was second. However, Dork is a split EP with Loose Change (the now-defunct Ukiah band featuring Chon Travis of Love Equals Death, Levi McCann, Nate Doherty, and pre-AFI Jade Puget). Behind The Times is the first EP featuring only AFI tracks, making it a must-have for the Consummate Collector of All Things AFI.

AFI's lineup for Behind The Times was Davey Havok, Adam Carson, Mark Stopholese (guitar) and Geoff Kresge (bass). The CURRENT members of AFI autographed the cover of this EP (Davey, Jade, Hunter and Adam) when it was brought to a Meet and Greet before a show.

I've amassed quite a collection of All Things AFI over the years, and I've decided to sell some of the "doubles" in my possession. I have two copies of Behind The Times, but I am keeping the rarer of the two for myself (black vinyl, 30-50 of the first pressing with photocopied sleeves and an insert instructing those wishing to have a REAL sleeve to bring the photocopied one to a show.)

One can definitely tell the inner sleeve collage was designed when Davey & Co. were much younger as evidenced by the references to laxatives, Tampax, Kool-Aid and diaper rash. Of course, the collage would not be complete without a dorky picture of Adam wearing funny glasses...

The paper (not cardboard) sleeve has a few wrinkles here and there, but hey, it's nearly 17 years old. The vinyl is in great condition - no chips, cracks, deep scratches or gouges that would affect play.
