Here it is, AFI fans and in MINT CONDITION! THE FIRST AFI 7" entitled "Behind the Times E.P." and released in 1993 on their own Key Lime Pie records (which was owned by Geoff, the bass player). This is one the FIRST PRESSING with original picture sleeve and band info & “thank you” insert (only 400 were made so it's VERY RARE! A second pressing exists and came with photocopied sleeves or no sleeve and no inserts) as well as the RARE AFI CLOTH PATCH THAT CAME ONLY WITH ABOUT A HUNDRED OF THE FIRST PRESSING! I know, they released a split 7" entitled "Dork" with another band called Loo$e Change before but this one is truly the first "AFI-only" release! Great fast and original hardcore! A.F.I. weren't even "East Bay Hardcore" by then as they were originaly from Ukiah, California! By then, AFI was Davey Havok on Vocals, Mark on Guitar, Adam Carson on Drums and Geoff Kresge on Bass. The band broke up after this 7" and re-united for one show during the christmas holidays of 1993 and that made them want to restart the band... you know what happens next... many 7"'s and LP's and now they just signed on a major and are heralded as the "next big thing" even by magazines like Rolling Stone!
