Another East African Swahili disc where the music is suspended in tension
between traditional music and semi-professional pop.
A sometimes scratchy violin, a proficient guitar and (on one side) a mandolin which is
dripping in the background - all this gives a typical early 1950's sound of an East African suburb.
Sung in Kiswahili.

We spot check every record on semi-professional equipment with a 3.0 mil spherical
needle, using no noise reduction for grading.
Grading scale for 78s according to VJM standards: N- E+ E E- VG+ VG VG- G+
WE PACK PROFESSIONALLY AT NO EXTRA COST
No packing charges. We sandwich your discs between several squares of stiff corrugated
cardboard, then use bubble wrap around and pack inside a sturdy record mailing box with
more padding material for safe transport.
WE PROVIDE COMBINED SHIPPING AT ACTUAL POSTAL RATES
We gladly combine shipping. We will send you an invoice.
We keep your shipping costs as low as possible and charge the actual postage rate.

up to 1000g First Class Registered Letter - $ 17.00 (for 1 or 2 78s, ten inch that is)
up to 2000g Parcel Post with hand out notice - $ 29.00 (for 3 to 5, or maybe 6 78s)
up to 3000g Parcel Post with hand out notice - $ 42.00
